Ceiling lights

Products: 153

Ceiling lights mount straight onto the ceiling instead of hanging from a cable or chain. This section holds about 155 ceiling lights. More than half are no higher than 10 cm; the flattest is just 2.4 cm.

Ceiling light or chandelier

A chandelier is usually bigger and more decorative, often with several shades or arms. A ceiling light is flat and sits close to the ceiling, so it suits hallways, kitchens, kids' rooms and rooms with low ceilings. For larger or taller models, see all Chandeliers.

Built-in LED or bulbs

About 125 models have a built-in LED light source: no bulbs to buy or replace. About 30 models take GX53 bulbs, sold separately, so you can pick a warmer or cooler bulb.

Remote, light tone and brightness

About 120 ceiling lights come with an infrared remote that switches the light tone from 3000 K (warm, for the evening) to 6500 K (cool, for work); more than half also dim. More: chandelier with remote control and colour temperature.

Size and brightness

Widths run from 17.5 to 94 cm, most often 45–62 cm. Rule of thumb: add the room's length and width in metres and multiply by 8 to get a fitting diameter in centimetres — about 56 cm for a 3 × 4 m room. Power is usually 40–100 W and light output 5,200–9,900 lm. More: lumens per square metre.

Ceiling lights for low ceilings

With a standard 2.5 m ceiling, choose a light no higher than 10 cm — we have about 90 of them. More: lights for low ceilings.

A ceiling light for every room

By room: living room, bedroom, kitchen, dining room, hallway and kids' room. Add wall lights or pendant lights over the table.
