Ceiling fans with lights

Ceiling fans with lights combine a fan and an LED light in one unit: in summer they cool the room with airflow, and all year round they give light. Our catalogue has VARGO models of two kinds: classic fans with large blades and a flat LED chandelier with a built-in fan.

Classic fans with blades

The classic models have 3 or 5 blades and a diameter of 132 cm, the largest 152 cm. In the centre is an LED light with 22 W power and 1980 lm luminous flux. The light tone can be switched between 3000 K (warm), 4500 K (neutral) and 6500 K (cool). The fan and the light are controlled with the remote that is included.

Flat LED chandelier with a fan

If there is no room for a fan or the ceiling is low, the flat model is the one to choose: its diameter is 47.4 cm and its height only 10 cm. It has 7 blades and 6 speeds, and a reverse mode: in winter the fan can turn the other way and push warm air from the ceiling down. The light is bright — 7380 lm — and can be dimmed. The remote works by radio (2.4 GHz), so you do not need to point it at the fan.

Ceiling height and mounting

Classic fans are 50 cm tall, and the blades should be at least about 2.3 m above the floor, so they need a ceiling of about 2.8 m or higher. With a 2.5 m ceiling, as in many flats, choose the flat model: it is 10 cm tall. More in how to choose a ceiling fan. A classic fan weighs 6–7 kg and spins, so it is fixed to concrete or another solid ceiling, not to a suspended-ceiling profile. The flat model weighs 2.6 kg.

Which room a fan with a light suits

Most often they go in a bedroom or a living room: one fitting on the ceiling gives both light and cool air, and you do not need a floor fan. If you do not need a fan, see bedroom chandeliers, living room chandeliers or all LED chandeliers. All the fans have an IP20 protection rating, so they are meant for dry rooms — not for a bathroom or an open terrace.

Colour and materials

Classic fans are made of plastic, mostly white; there are also two models with wood-coloured details, one white and one black. The flat model is made of metal and acrylic, in white and transparent. All run on standard mains power, 220–240 V.
