Hallway ceiling lights

Hallway ceiling lights are the first lights you switch on when you come home, so they should be bright enough to find your keys and check yourself in the mirror. The selection runs from compact lights about 18 cm across for narrow corridors to models up to 66 cm wide for a roomy entrance hall. Some have integrated LEDs, most of them with an IR remote and adjustable colour temperature; others use GX53 or E27 bulbs, which are not included. Colours: white, wood, grey, chrome and black.

Hallway ceilings are often lower and space is tight, so a flat light that sits close to the ceiling is usually the right choice. A long corridor may need two or three smaller lights rather than one large one. Neutral white light keeps an entrance bright and clear.
