LED chandeliers

Products: 148

LED chandeliers are chandeliers with a built-in light source: there are no bulbs to buy or replace. Our catalogue has about 150 VARGO LED chandeliers, and almost all come with an infrared remote that changes the light tone and, on most, the brightness.

How an LED chandelier differs from a chandelier with bulbs

In a chandelier with a base, the light comes from bulbs that you buy separately and replace when they burn out. In an LED chandelier the light-emitting diodes are built into the body, so the chandelier is thinner and the light spreads evenly through the acrylic shade. If you would still like a chandelier with bulbs, see the whole Chandeliers section.

Remote, light tone and brightness

For almost all our LED chandeliers the colour temperature changes from 3000 K (warm light for the evening) to 6500 K (cool light for work), on some models up to 6000 K. On about two thirds, the remote also adjusts the brightness. The remote is infrared, so point it at the chandelier when pressing the buttons. How much light and what power

Luminous flux is from about 2200 to 35,000 lm, most often 5400–10,800 lm. Power is from 24 to 392 W, most often 60–120 W. Our LED chandeliers give 80–100 lm per watt, so the power gives a rough idea of the brightness: a 60 W chandelier gives about 5400 lm. The “Power” filter above the list helps you pick the models you need. See also: lumens per square metre.

What size of LED chandelier to choose

Width is from 23.5 to 94 cm, most often 47.5–63.5 cm. Rule of thumb: add the room’s length and width in metres and multiply by 8 — that is a suitable diameter in centimetres. For a 3 × 3 m room that is about 48 cm, for 3 × 4 m about 56 cm, for 4 × 5 m about 72 cm. For a hallway and small rooms, models up to 40 cm are suitable.

LED chandeliers for low ceilings

LED chandeliers are 4.5 to 19 cm tall, and more than half are no taller than 10 cm. That makes them a good fit for standard flats with 2.5 m ceilings: the chandelier does not hang over your head and does not take up space. See also: ceiling lights for low ceilings.

An LED chandelier for every room

Chandeliers by room: living room, bedroom, kitchen, dining room, hallway and kids’ room. You can complement a chandelier with wall lights or pendant lights.

Colour and materials

Most LED chandeliers are white. There are also black ones, black or white with wood details, and chrome. The body is usually metal or aluminium, the shade acrylic. Almost all have an IP20 protection rating, meaning they are for dry rooms.
